Vulvar cancer could be associated with lichen sclerosus with HPV suspected.
The most common is the presence of squamous cell carcinomas that form slowly over several years. The medical term used for this precancerous condition is vulva intraepithelial neoplasia. The second most common type is melanoma. This develops from the pigment-producing cells that determine skin color.

The vulva is the external area of the female reproductive system that includes two prominent skin folds known as the labia majora. Vulva cancers are malignancies occurring on any part of the external reproductive system. A small percentage of vulva cancers develop from glands.
