Lichen sclerosus et atrophicans can be related to a genital wart removal with cryosurgery or other methods. Sometimes, surgery is needed. Corticosteroids and testosterone may be used as treatment. The exact cause of the disease is unknown. Patients report itching and outer lips’ shrinkage in women suffering from kraurosis vulvae. The lesions are found mostly on the body, genitals, or an area around the anus. Lichen sclerosus et atrophicans can be related to a genital wart removal with cryosurgery or other methods.
